Tech Assistant came about from the necessity to move away from the mundane and repetitive tasks involved when testing networking devices. When you do this manually you have to do one device at a time. You also have to wait for specific moments to enter certain commands like the break sequence or erasing the config. Out of this need Tech Assistant was born. Tech Assistant is a software application that reads in output from networking devices and resets them to factory default. The software will also run specific test commands to confirm that the device is working properly. The engineer in charge of testing does not need to enter commands or wait for the right moment to perform certain tasks.
